Molly Malloy’s represents the best Reading Terminal Market has to offer with an emphasis on family traditions and Philadelphia pride. Inspired by our mother’s love of cooking and community, the Iovine family created Molly’s in 2011 to serve as a hub for good food and even better company. At the center of the Market you’ll find classic dishes made with local ingredients from around the Terminal. Indulge in hearty cheesesteaks, scratch-made sides, and a rotating tap list fit for any beer enthusiast. We encourage guests to meet and mingle over honest food in a comfortable setting that feels like home. Molly Malloy’s showcases all the plentiful produce that is easily accessible at our sister-business in the Market, Iovine Brothers Produce.

IT’S ALL IN THE FAMILY

Growing up with ten brothers and sisters meant dinner was sometimes eaten in shifts at the Iovine family home. Though seating was limited, head of the household Molly Malloy would always make sure everyone was happy and full, even if that meant putting another potato in the pot for a friend who stopped by for dinner. When Jimmy and Vinnie from Iovine Brothers Produce were provided the opportunity to purchase the former Reading Terminal Beer Garden, naming the new spot was a no brainer. Tommy Nicolosi from DiNic’s Pork & Beef knew Molly Malloy’s was the only name that made sense. Vinnie and Jimmy were so proud to name Molly Malloy’s after their mother and to extend her warm spirit to their customers to make everyone feel like part of the Iovine extended family.

Today, Molly Malloy’s is continuing our namesake’s spirit of hospitality, while serving up comfort cuisine in a welcoming setting. Though Molly used to eyeball every recipe, we’ve got all ours written down for you to enjoy. She treated everyone like family, and that same generosity lives on at our restaurant.
